The first time the small city car Suzuki Swift came out it was only equipped with a 1.6L powerplant producing 101hp. Following the introduction of the original model, Suzuki came out with the Sport version which was more powerful and came with the same engine but with a bumped power output of 126hp. This does not seem to be satisfying to the people over at Monster-Sport who have developed their own version of the Swift which they call the Suzuki Swift Monster NX16, which has been improved to produce 146hp from the same 1.6L powerplant!
To achieve this boost in power Monster-Sport reprogrammed the factory ECU to handle the free-flowing titanium exhaust system and bigger air intakes. In addition, Monster-Sport improved the car with a complete Aero package from J plus a GT wing made from carbon. The sticker price for the complete package is 2,835,000 Yen ($30,000) and can be ordered in retail.
