2009 Renault Twingo dCi 85 eco2: pricing and details revealed

Renault has expanded the city car’s list of diesel units to incorporate the dCi 85, in its attempt to build on the success of Twingo, which is clearly the highest-grossing vehicle of its class in France and one of its class’ three best-sellers in Europe. Twingo dCi 85 eco2 merges improved performance and driving excitement with fuel economy and reduced Co2 emissions.
It enters the lineup together with the dCi 65, providing extra power of about +20hp/15kW and 200 Nm, up 40 Nm of torque, thus far CO2 emissions are a meager 104g/km, corresponding to collective cycle fuel utilization of 4.0 liters/100km. The dCi 85 unit is offered for both the Dynamique and GT variants of Twingo and are set for sale in France beginning on January, with €14,850 as the starting sticker price. Photos after the jump!
