During a Web chat last Monday on the corporate GM FastLane blog, the general manager of Buick GMC, Susan Docherty, responded to questions, one of which was about the 2010 GMC Terrain. She denied plans for a diesel version of the Terrain or a Denali version of the vehicle.

This could dismay many enthusiasts since this contradicts an earlier report that indicated that GM was considering a Denali version of the Terrain. She also that there are no plans for a diesel version. She continued to deny that GM is building a ‘Buick’ version of the Terrain/[Chevrolet] Equinox. Last August, GM pulled the plug on a Buick variant of the Terrain/Equinox after a version was met with negative feedback from media and consumer groups. Docherty also said that currently, the Terrain’s availability is limited however this will improve in October.
