Rumor: Camaro Convertible coming as a 2011 model instead of 2012
Thursday, August 27th, 2009
After much dillydallying, General Motors appears to have decided to bring the convertible variant of the new Chevrolet Camaro as a 2011 model year instead of 2012. Fans have been kept in suspense as GM was indecisive about the car’s market launch date.
A Camaro5 forum member at GM Holden’s e Fishermans Bend plant in Melbourne, Australia, took these scoop photographs of completely undisguised Camaro Convertible models, which appear to be production-ready. It hardly needs it but we’ll wait for an official announcement from GM. The Camaro Convertible will be offered with V6 and V8 engine options. Photo gallery after the jump!
