Bmw X1 AC SchnitzerThe AC Schnitzer X1 is the latest custom project to come from the well-known BMW vehicles tuning company. This retrofitted ride will debut at the Geneva Motor Show this March.

This version is based on the BMW X1 E84 premium compact SUV and comes with an exclusively optimized aerodynamic body kit that emphasizes its vivid X Series styling language. The addition of a front spoiler, rear skirt extension and a rear roof spoiler has resulted to the improvement in its downforce. It also guaranteed additional ground adhesion. In addition, the AC Schnitzer Bonnet Vents set contributes for increased engine breathe. Continued after the jump!

AC Schnitzer ACS3 3.5d Coupe reaches 288.7 km/h

Ac Schnitzer ACS3 3.5d CoupeAC Schnitzer never tires of receiving awards. Very recently, the carmaker got a third world record for Aachen after having gone to Nardo in southern Italy.

Historically, many records are set in the high-speed circuit. Each year in southern Italy, in collaboration with the AUTO BILD sportscars’ editors and under the aegis of Continental AG, the top vehicle tuners compete. This year, it was on Oct. 18-19, 2009. The record for the fastest road-legal diesel car was broken by the AC Schnitzer ACS3 3.5d Coupe with a speed of more than 8.7 km/h.288.7 km/h. Continued after the jump!

AC Schnitzer ACS1 2.3d Tune It Safe CarFor those who don’t know, last year the “TUNE IT! SAFE!” VDAT initiative featured the new Vw Scirocco, but this year it appears that the AC Schnitzer ACS1 2.3d is the new star. Based on the Bmw 123d Coupe, the AC Schnitzer “ACS1 2.3d”, comes with an upgraded engine capable to develop 241 hp (177 kW) and 480 Nm and to push the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.

Also, a new body kit was installed consisting of: two-piece front spoiler, rear skirt insert, rear wing and rear roof spoiler and completed by the new AC Schnitzer wheels Type IV BiColor wrapped in high performance tires from TUNE IT! SAFE! main sponsor Hankook. Continued after the jump!

AC Schnitzer presents its new Forged Racing Wheel Type VIII

AC Schnitzer Type VIII WheelsAC Schnitzer has always been known for really bringing up the appearance of a car to catch everyone’s attention. Its latest creation is no exception. Designed for some of the BMW models, the Forged Racing Wheel Type VIII is based on Type VI wheel.

Forming the new rim are a classic 5 double-spoke design, forged and machined inner star and a spoke frame held in anthracite. The forged racing wheel Type VIII come in size 22-inch for the BMW 7-series (F01/F02), BMW X5 / X6 and also in sizes 11.0J x 23-inch and 12.0J x 23-inch to suit, again, the BMW X5 / X6. 2009 Bmw Z4 by AC Schnitzer

2009 Bmw Z4 AC SchnitzerAC Schnitzer revealed today its latest customization kit for the 2009 Bmw Z4. The new programme consists in a chromed front grille and front lip spoiler, new side sills and a two-piece rear spoiler. The kit is completed by the AC Schnitzer Type IV in 18” or Type VI wheels in 18, 19 or 20 inch. Inside, we find the new aluminium cover for the i-Drive System Controller as well as the aluminium foot rests and pedal set.

Under the hood, the 3.0-liter bi-turbo petrol engine was boosted from 306 hp to an impressive 360 hp. With these numbers the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 286km/h. A new exhaust system was also added in order to improve the sound of the engine as well as a new suspension kit for better handling. No words about the price yet! Photo gallery after the jump!

2008 SEMA Show: AC Schnitzer X6 Falcon based on the Bmw X6

AC Schnitzer Bmw X6 FalconIt seems that November is going to be a very hot month due to the vehicles that will be unveiled at the SEMA Show. Day by day the list is getting bigger and bigger and the latest manufacturer who joined the list, AC Schnitzer, unveiled today the X6 Falcon based on the Bmw X6, a vehicle that will be a premiere at SEMA.

At the first sight, the vehicle shows a wider body (70 mm wider at the front axle and 80 mm wider at the rear) which is underlined with the help of the aerodynamics package. This package includes a new bumper with integrated diagonal air inlets and fog lamps, new side sills, a rear roof spoiler and a new rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and 4-pipe exhaust system. Under the hood the tuner boosted the 30d (235 hp) and 35d (286 hp) to 272 hp and 310 hp making the car faster and more reliable. At the interior we find a new “EVO” 3-spoke sports airbag steering wheel, velour foot mats, together with the characteristic AC Schnitzer aluminium pedals and foot rests as well as a new aluminium cover especially developed for the i-Drive system. The kit is completed by the 22-inch Type VII alloy wheels! More photos after the jump!
