For £8995, you can own the new top-of-the-range version of the Toyota Aygo city car, the Platinum. Dealers are now accepting orders for the new model, which was recently launched. The Platinum is based on the Aygo+ model and has an array of luxurious upgrades, including an Alcantara and leather interior and a new leather gearknob. It also boasts a new six-speaker audio system.

The Platinum rides on new 14-inch alloy wheels. All models come in Crystal Silver metallic paint. Powering the Platinum is Toyota’s 1.0-liter VVT-I petrol engine, which is mated to a five-speed manual ‘box. For added safety, buyers can opt to install the Aygo Xtra Protected pack.
