This is the brand new 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe! Set to hit the showrooms in the spring of 2010, the new CTS coupe, according to GM, promises to become the centerpiece of the brand’s revised lineup. “CTS Coupe is the new focal point of Cadillac, expressing both our design and technical capabilities. Cadillac has released its latest full-line promo video – a 60-second spot, dubbed “Re-ignition.” Featured running across a dry lake bed are the CTS Sport Wagon and the 2010 SRX Crossover. In addition, the clip shows the first-ever video footage of the production form of the CTS Coupe. The CTS Coupe is trailed by a plume of salt and dust and filmed at night but there’s a lingering profile shot toward the end. It doesn’t reveal much but it’s safe to conclude that little has changed since the first shots of the production car surfaced as part of GM’s “viability presentation” back in February. The Cadillac CTS Coupe, initially set to be showcased at last year’s LA Auto Show, has been postponed to the summer of 2010. Cadillac pointed to changes in the vehicle’s portfolio as the main reason for the delay. Meanwhile, the CTS Wagon is still set for this spring and the SRX for this summer. In the event that the CTS Coupe does arrive, it will do so either as a 2010 or 2011 model.
