GM’s vice chairman Bob Lutz confirms the Cadillac CTS-V Wagon
Wednesday, November 18th, 2009
There are no more doubts about the 556-hp Cadillac CTS-V wagon going into production. GM’s vice chairman Bob Lutz confirmed this report, saying that the CTS would also be available as a coupe. Lutz gave the confirmation during a recent one-on-one interview where he also discussed how to prime the market for stylish cargo haulers.
Among those being considered is a Buick Regal wagon, which could be a hit among the over-35 set that grew up on wood-paneled Grand Marquis and Chrysler K-car wagon. Lutz had said that the CTS-Vwagon could get people back to boarding wagons. He stated that the CTS-V will be available “any way you want.”
