Thursday, November 20th, 2008
Labeled as the Hemera, the latest model stands for the first truly ‘new’ car from PGO in over a decade. It is propelled by a 140 hp (103kW) 2.0-liter mid-mounted Peugeot engine and conveys power to the rear wheels through a five-speed gearbox. The vehicle’s internal arrangement consists of a tubular frame and a composite molded body shell, while the suspension underscores an independent McPherson setup with a with lower triangulated arm and transversal sway bar.
Numbers for performance include a maximum speed of 200 km/h (124 mph) and an acceleration of 0-100 km/h (62 mph)in less than 7 seconds, attained due to its relatively light weight of just 980kg. Units will be made available in Europe early next year. Details and photos after the jump!
