Shelby Autos announced that the package that it presented using the Ford F-150 Super Snake at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is now available. The package can also be purchased separately if the car owner only wants either the styling or the power/handling upgrades.

In a press release, Amy Boylan, Shelby Autos president, said that the concept F150 Super Snake was built to test the public’s readiness for another high performance Shelby truck. She said that the same approach to the project was done for every Shelby. The package gives the truck a “styling that says ‘look at me,’ earth shattering power, stop-on-a-dime brakes and go cart-like handling.” Boylan claims that what they’ve created is a “balanced performance truck that’s as desirable to drive as it is to look at.” The package is intended to go on the 2003-2008 Ford F150, equipped with the 5.4l engine. Shelby’s engineers have enhanced the unit to develop 475 hp through the automatic transmission. Photo gallery after the jump!
