Lorinser Lexus LS460All of you folks know that Lorinser, the well-known German tuner is specialized in tuning Mercedes-Benz cars but it appears that this tuning company wanted to try something else and revealed today the new customization program for the Lexus LS460.

The Japanese vehicle received a brand new front apron, new side sills, a small rear wing on the boot lid and a new rear apron with integrated exhaust system and air diffuser. Under the hood we have the same V8-engine capable to develop 381 horsepower (280 kW) and to push the car from 0 to 100 in 5.7 seconds. The kit is completed by the well-known Lorinser alloy-wheels seen on the other tuned Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Photo gallery after the jump!

2008 SEMA Show: Lexus IS-F by 0-60 Magazine

Thursday, October 30th, 2008

Lexus IS-F by 0-60 MagazineTrack performance is a widespread subject among IS-F builders, and due to this 0-60 Magazine raised the stake on their Lexus IS-F venture with a supercharger to squeeze out more horse power from the enormous V8 engine found under the hood. Carbon fiber body parts reduce weight while lowering the center of gravity and a custom roll cage adds strength and protection. A powerful brake enhancement kit was integrated to balance the performance equation.

It is a fact that the 0-60 crew knows how to drive, so it’s not a shocker that the buff book’s IS F mixes the right amount of power with the proper dose of stick. Even though they haven’t provided the figures for the output for the Greddy-supercharged bent-eight, the educated estimate puts it somewhere close to 550 hp. That extra power and the carbon fiber body panels should improve on the IS F’s weight problem. And with a custom roll cage, TEIN suspension, improved brakes and a set of Yokohama Advan RZ wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus EVO V12 rubber, this is the first IS F that you’d actually want to drive. Lexus GS by Job DesignWhat you see here is the proof that tuning can make a vehicle simply unuseful. After last week we saw the Mercedes-Benz CLS550 prepared by Job Design, today we see the new Lexus GS customized by the same tuning house.

As you can see the tuning kit of the Japanese tuner includes a new front bumper, new side sills, a new rear air diffuser with exhaust cutters and a new suspension system to bring the car closer to the ground. Also a new set of alloy wheels were added in order to complete this “stylish” kit. More photos with this Lexus after the jump!
