First buyers of the Porsche Panamera to receive a free luggage set

Porsche Panamera TurboAccording to AutoWeek, the first 195 buyers of the Panamera in the United States are will receive a Porsche luggage set, priced at $3,580, for free. No, this is not a Christmas present… it is happening because is the way the German manufacturer wants to apologize regarding the late arrival due to the fact that the cars have been held at the ports while a problem with the car’s key and software have been fixed.

A Porsche spokesman told the reporters that 72 cars have been fixed and already arrived at dealerships this past weekend while the remaining 123 units will be fixed and delivered by Nov. 30.

Porsche Panamera by Mansory

Mansory Porsche PanameraAfter we saw the Gemballa Mistrale, 9ff, Lumma CLR700 GT and the Techart Panamera, it’s time to see what Mansory did with the new Porsche four-door Gran Turismo. Looking at the photos we must admit: this is the best looking tuning kit for the Porsche Panamera!

The new kit consists of a new front bumper, a completely new front hood, widened fenders, new side sills and a redesigned rear bumper with integrated exhaust system and carbon-fiber air diffuser. The car was also lowered with up to 35 millimetres and equipped with new wheels measuring 9,5×21 and 11,5×21 inches. Inside, the car comes with new pedals made of brushed aluminium perfect the interior equipment but also with the finest varnish or dynamic carbon. Also, a newly designed sports steering wheel was installed in order to give the driver the possibility to feel the elegance of the refined Porsche straight in his hands. Porsche Panamera now available as a rental car for Avis customers

2010 Porsche PanameraLast week we announced that the Porsche Panamera went on sale but today we have another surprise: the brand new sedan will also be available as a rental car beginning on 1 October at many German locations of the Avis car rental service. The models Panamera S and Panamera 4S will be offered at major city and airport locations with the following price tags: price per day (Monday to Thursday) begins at 189 euro; cost of weekend rental (Friday to Monday) starts at 567 euro.

Porsche Panamera InteriorTwo customization options are available for the Porsche Panamera. If money is not an issue and you want a little more detail, a lot of posh, and a tinge of your individual taste, you can either go for the Porsche Exclusive or the Porsche Tequipment.

Porsche Exclusive plays around with wood, aluminum, carbon and leather for styling. The wood is Yachting Mahogany and the yachting theme is likewise featured in the grab handles on the roof as well as in the 3-spoke steering wheel. The interior is furnished by louvers on the air vents, sun visors and elsewhere, along with trim covers on the steering column and seat console all in top-quality leather. The instrument panel and the Sport Chrono stopwatch come in a choice of various subtle and flourishing colors. The Porsche Tequipment has a different set of options, including a 10.5-liter cooler between the two rear seats, as well as specially designed air intake grids at the front and air outlets on the wings behind the front wheels. Porsche considering diesel engine and targa version for the Panamera

2009 Porsche PanameraThe Porsche Panamera is the maybe the most waited vehicle from the German manufacturer specialized in producing high performance cars. Of course, many of you would say : What the heck?? A sedan from Porsche? Unbelievable?

Consider it like this: also the Cayenne was criticized and yet the numbers are speaking, the SUV had a big success. The same thing is going to happened with the Porsche Panamera, which will be officially launched in 2009.

The manufacturers announced that is taking in consideration a diesel version of the sedan and that is currently developing a hybrid one. Also, a convertible Panamera will be produced, but don’t imagine it will have a fully retractable top, it will be more like a Targa version. Also check the first Panamera sketches by 9ff.
