Tata Motors is prepared to launch a set of new models as it moves to expand in Europe and in the US. Tata Motors boss Ravi Kant says that selling plenty of new models seven or eight -- in the UK is in the planning. Sometime this year, Kant expects the current Indica and Indigo models to go on sale in the UK once a new distributor has been selected. The Aria crossover, which was unveiled at the Auto Expo, is set to be sold in Europe. The Nano Europa is also expected to go on sale in the UK around 2011 and in the US after that. Kant also said that these models would be changed for Europe. He was referring to the engineering changes applied to the ultra-low-budget Nano to assure compliance with European and US regulations. Kant assures though that prices will be kept low and that the cars will offer good value.
