Now that there's a real Need for Speed car, many critics have turned silent about the game's lack of connection with reality. Speedhunters recently revealed that Team NFS, the racing team connected to the arcade racing series, has produced a 1,100 hp (820 kW) Scion tC. When you take a look at it, the car looks fierce and incredibly fast. The development of the Scion tC race car spans the past few years. It uses all-wheel-drive to bring all its power to the road. Carbon fiber is extensively used in this Time Attack vehicle. It features hillclimb-style aerodynamic elements. Chris Rado, a U.S. racing driver who is known for creating extreme projects, leads the development of this custom vehicle. [via speedhunters]
