The TECHART GTStreet RS kit based on the Porsche 911 GT2 RS that was shown at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show boasts a zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of 2.8 seconds from its output of 700 hp and 900 Nm torque. But TECHART has recently presented another impressive power kit with over 700 hp. The TA 097/T3 for the Porsche 911 Turbo offers outstanding acceleration figures and a new top speed for the super sports car.
Its 3.8-liter boxer engine comes with an extra 174 kW (200 hp) and 230 Nm torque compared to the series model to offer an output of 515 kW (700 hp) and a maximum torque of 880 Nm. The super sports car runs from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, doing better than the power kit TA 097/T2 by a tenth. It can reach 200 km/h in 9.0 seconds and could hit a top speed of 352 km/h.
The engine conversion consists of the installation of the TECHART sport air filter, TECHART manifolds, the TECHART Turbo chargers VTG, the TECHART high performance intercoolers, and the TECHART engine styling package in carbonfiber. These changes are ideally attuned to each other through the reprogrammed engine management.
