Techart reveals new ‘Power Kit’ for the Porsche Panamera Turbo

Techart has unveiled its latest revisions for the Black Edition Porsche Panamera that ups the performance of the already speedy sedan. It can be recalled that the German tuning firm offered aesthetic upgrades earlier this year. This latest upgrade, which is dubbed the "Power Kit," is the result of a software tweak that enables the PanameraTurbo to perform at its fullest potential. The 4.8-liter twin-turbo V-8 is boosted by 80hp to 580hp. With the package, the vehicle can sprint from zero to 62mph in 3.8 seconds; and to 124mph in 12.5 seconds. In comparison, the stock Turbo can reach 62mph in 4.2 seconds; and to 124mph in 13.2 seconds.
Top-speed Autobahn runs are now 17 mph faster than before while the tuned Turbo can hit 205 mph. Techart said that its Power Kit can be added to any Panamera Turbo. The boost can be accessed through a console-mounted sport button. The upgrade isn´t expected to affect the sedans' durability. Techart supports its claims with the same two-year warranty on the programming as it does on other parts in its catalog. The product is offered at authorized Techart dealers next month, but pricing has yet to be disclosed.
