The next Renault Clio, the upcoming supermini, boasts of having a sensational, daring design that is reminiscent of its model ranks, according to Steve Norman, Renault's Senior Vice President of Global Marketing. In an interview with Autocar, Norman said that the Clio IV has the makings of an icon. Norman also said that the Clio IV has the potential to make the company as the leading player in Europe's biggest market sector. Aside from that, this car would also show a new generation of buyers how fantastic [its] cars can look. He said that Renault is a real masterstroke of design but that we have to see it for ourselves. This September, Renault will provide a sneak peak of the next Clio at the Paris motor show. Normal also said that the car will be previewed by an advanced Clio concept, which is nothing like a conventional supermini but that it gives us a flavor of what we should expect. According to company insiders, the new Clio will share features with the Zoe concept, a similarly-sized, all-electric hatchback headed for production as one of La Regie's electric vehicles.
