Besides the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG, the 2013 LA Auto Show and the Tokyo Motor Show will also see the SLS AMG GT Final Edition. This new edition, which is based on the SLS AMG GT, marks the end of an era and will be built in a special edition of just 350 units. Each unit is powered by the impressive 6.3-liter V8 engine rated at 591 hp (435 kW).
Moreover, the SLS AMG GT Final Edition will be easily distinguished thanks to the carbon fiber hood, a carbon fiber front lip spoiler, a redesigned front bumper and new brakes. Mercedes-Benz will reveal all the details and specs next week.
For those who don’t know, the SLS AMG will also have a successor dubbed SLC. This new sports car will take on the Porsche 911, will be smaller than the SLS AMG and will be powered by a newly developed 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 developing around 500 hp. Same engine will be used by the new C63 AMG.
