Toyota expects that its Camry model will once again be the top-selling car in the U.S. If this gets the title this year, it will be the 11th consecutive year. There is a huge 67,000-unit gap between the Toyota Camry and the Honda Accord, which is at second place. Toyota is confident that with just two months left in the year, no other model will surpass the record set by the Camry. Toyota has also said that its Camry surpass its 2012 sales target by 15% and aims to end the year with 400,000 Camrys sold. Through September, Toyota has sold 314,788 Camrys in the U.S. This is 37% higher than the same time last year. The Honda Accord (with sales of 247,847 units) is trailed by the Nissan Altima (with 234,040 sold). The Honda Civic is at fourth place (with 234,029 sold).
