It appears that the new Toyota Land Cruiser will receive another V8 engine, smaller and more powerful. The vehicle uses for the moment the 4.7-liter engine but according to our sources, the new engine will be smaller, a 4.6-liter V8, and will develop 318 hp instead of 288 as well as 460 Nm of torque. The engine, used also by the Lexus LS460, will be connected to an 6-speed automatic gearbox and will deliver a better fuel efficiency, around 14 l/100 km.
