It deploys from the console at the center located at the seat at the rear to prevent passengers from colliding against each other and against the console in case of a crash. There has been no word concerning the model in which this technology will be employed or when it will begin using it. The only word Toyota released was that it will be utilized in a version of a model that will be launched soon.
