This is the very first time that Formula One has seen merchandise like this. Besides the common caps, T-shirts and key-holders, the grand prix team of the Japanese Toyota is vending a skew of high-tech parts from its previous racing cars. Included are carbon fiber wings, brakes and light alloy wheels which can be ordered online at the Toyota F1 website. Prices range from £175 to £4,400 (€200 to €5,000). At the opposite end of the market, there are wheels, brake discs and suspension parts for under £200. Also for sale are front and rear wing assemblies with price tags between £700 and £2,000. And for £4,400, you can purchase the complete rear wing, hood cover and underbody section.
