The TRD Tundra Double Cab 4x4 Off-Road Concept begins with a 6.5-foot bed. It merges a very long list of custom highlights designed to exhibit new TRD products on a rugged heavy-duty off-road truck that can be utilized to pull a large car-hauler trailer. The 5.7-liter V8 engine has been improved with the new TRD supercharger system that integrates an air-to-liquid intercooler that increases output to about 500 horsepower and is 50-state emission legal. The truck utilizes TRD 17x 8 forged off-road wheels with 37x12.50 R17/D BFG rubber on special front and rear wide-track long-travel suspensions. The body has been robustly modified with new front and rear fascias and five-inch wider fender sides. A custom trailer hitch has been integrated into the bed. The 28-foot custom Featherlite car-hauler trailer was fabricated and built to bear a resemblance to a working race car trailer, but is in fact a traveling TRD product display featuring many new TRD products. Inside the trailer, guests can view the internal operations of the most current TRD superchargers and limited-slip differentials, view the latest wheel offerings or watch a video of the actual design and construction of the TRD Off-Road Concept Tundra.
