Triple Eight Engineering upgrades the Vauxhall Astra VXR

The Vauxhall Astra VXR has received a totally powerful boost thanks to Triple Eight Engineering, the specialists at the back of Fabrizio Giovanardi's Vectra VXR that brought him to 2008 BTCC Drivers' Championship fame. They have developed different adaptations for the Astra that are offered at Vauxhall dealerships, and fixed in like manner to Mountune's Ford Fiesta and Focus tuning packages. The work of Triple Eight on the VXR outdoes the STs.
For appetizers, a Remus exhaust costing £850 provides a more tough audio experience and an increase in potency of up to 20bhp, at the same time as the ECU can be adjusted to release an extra 48bhp from the Astra's 2-liter powerhouse. That increases the total potency to a bit amazing 305bhp. To accommodate the extra energy, there is also available a Triple Eight wheel and tyre pack. Custom 18 inch alloys covered in 235/40 Toyo Proxy tires costs £1380. Available also is a VX Racing brake kit, bragging 4-pot front calipers and bigger 343mm x 26mm front discs, vand an Eibach suspension kit that permits reduction of the ride-height by up to 15mm maximum.
