Innotech, the tuning specialist, has totally restored the image of the Chevrolet Corvette C6 and offers a slew of performance kits for fans to choose from. Even though the name sounds like the notorious Initech firm from Office Space, it's in fact a Czech tuner that arrived in scene with its V8-propelled carbon-fiber Mysterro back way in 2000. The characteristic fresh inside consists of rear window side louvers, an optional louvered hood and revised bumpers for both the front and rear.
Innotech's kit defines a new Corvette with an Italian appearance that is based on Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano-esque chrome bars on the front bumper. Upright doors in traditional Lamborghini style are also part of the Innotech handling. The tuner will have a broad body kit for both the C6 coupe and convertible next year.
Innotech is making available a selection of performance enhancements for the Italian/American hybrid including a freer-flowing exhaust that comes with headers, HRE or Forgeline rims and huge 15-inch BAER or Brembo brakes on slotted rotors with 4- or 6-piston calipers.
Plus, Innotech will boost the LS2 or LS3 V8 up to a normally aspirated 560 horsepower, or an optional supercharger or twin-turbo that will generate yield to a range between 600-1,000-hp. The Czech tuner also has intentions for a C6 Speedster as well as bespoke packages for the Z06 and ZR1 next year.
INNOTECH revealed that its Corvette line-up will start with the modified C6 Corvette both in the convertible and coupe versions.
This modified version is mainly based on the 2005 to 2009 models. INNOTECH states that this line-up will offer customers a combination of performance with unique style but will continue to maintain great value for money.
Unlike the standard versions, the modified version from INNOTECH results in a more distinguishing sporty look with a stylish design that reminds one of its Italian lineage. INNOTECH modification also results in making it different from its competition due to the new front and the rear fascia.
When combined with the side louvres of the rear window, it further makes it stand above the rest. The INNOTECH has already created the C6 Speedster and has even offered a customization for the C6 Z06 and C6 ZR1.
Both the Z06 and ZR1 already come with the rear window modification and rear fascia. With the many upgrades being offered, the sixth generation of the Corvette will now have five distinct bodies giving customers more choices compared to other brands. Truly, INNOTECH’s modification is bound to excite any sports car enthusiast who want a car that combines amazing performance with interesting body styles.
