The tuning specialists at Senner have launched their version of the Audi A5 Cabrio, which now has a more aggressive appearance due to its RS bodywork. Only days ago, Senner had shown its package for the Audi A1. The modifications to the exterior include a new front spoiler with larger air intakes, a new grille, RS5-like exterior mirrors and diffuser fins at the back.
The Senner Audi A5 Cabrio also got fitted with a new exhaust system with 4 tailpipes 88x74 mm in diameter and a roof that can now be opened or folded via radio signals.
The Audi A5 Cabrio features the 20 inch Verianza TIS (on the right) and the Schwert SC1 (on the left) light alloy wheels. These are all covered in Vredstein tires. To add prestige, several tweaks to the interior were also done with the use of surfaces made from leather and extensive carbon fiber applications.
The tuner also revealed that the carbon set at Senner Tuning Inc. includes a tacho blend, the S-Line sports steering wheel, an ash tray cover as well as a further extension of door applications – which means that the expensive material was used extensively.
Performance is also enhanced. The car’s 2.0-litre TFSI unit can now generate 275hp and 430 Nm of torque due to new sport air filters and a remapped ECU. This package is priced from EUR19,900 but the price goes up to as high as EUR55,000 for the vehicle basic price plus the special tuning features.
