The tuning specialists at Brabus introduced their 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabrio program, which features a new styling package as well as some unremarkable power upgrades for some of the engines in the lineup. Pricing for the new program is dependent on the engine and the various other options offered by Brabus.
The Brabus 2010 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabrio has the ECO Power Extra D4 power kit that raises the output of the E250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY engine to 235 hp (232 bhp) / 173 kW and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque.
The Brabus 2010 Mercedes-Benz E350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY Cabrio comes with the ECO PowerXtra D6 (III) module that boosts the output to 272 hp (268 bhp) / 200 kW and 590 Nm (435 lb-ft) of torque. The program also offers power upgrades for the E250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY and the E350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY.
While the first one generates 230 hp (227 bhp) / 169 kW at a low 5,500 rpm, the second one gets an additional 18 hp (18 bhp) / 13.2 kW.
Meanwhile, the top of the range Brabus 2010 Mercedes-Benz E500 Cabrio got extensive upgrades and it delivers 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW and 615 Nm (453 lb-ft) of torque at a low 3,100 rpm.
The Brabus 2010 Mercedes-Benz E500 Cabrio is claimed to reach a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph) and is reported to be capable of reaching 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.
