Tuning specialists from Lorinser have unveiled a new, amazing enhancement program for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Class facelift model. Lorinser gave the high-end luxury flagship sedan a slight restyling.
The car has been fitted with new aerodynamic package and power kit. This retrofitted version stands out from the others in the series due to the newly shaped front bumper, rear skirt, roof spoiler and rear lip, which when combined with discreet side skirts, highlight the high-class vehicle's elegance.
With the aesthetic enhancements comes an impressive performance boost as well for the six-, eight- and twelve cylinder S-Class power plants.
The car gets an added output of 30hp (22 kW) from the mounted Lorinser Diesel Module to the S350 CDI. Lorinser gives the 12-cylinder top model a performance package called the LV 12 Biturbo, which consists of ECU remap, modified turbo charging and fuel injection systems as well as an optimized exhaust unit with sports exhaust. With these new tweaks, the upper class ride now has a 110hp (81 kW) increase in the output figures compared to its stock counterpart.
Aside from that, the top speed is not limited anymore and the car can now reach 330 km/h instead of 250 km/h. To optimize the character and driving experience and for the car to have perfect tarmac contact, Lorinser is offering the S-Class with a wide range of wheel/tire combinations.
This includes the 22-inch polished alloys type RS9, which does astoundingly well at modern vision, low weight and mono-block design with five slotted triple spokes. These rims are offered in combination with 275/25ZR22 tires at the front and 295/25ZR22 tires at the back axle.
