German tuner Hamann enhanced the power of BMW's new Z4 sDrive35is, with most of the changes focused on the engine controller. Hamann optimized the ECU and installed a new exhaust system.
With these changes, Hamann was able to add 54hp to BMW's twin-tubocharged 3.0-liter inline six. The car boosted its horsepower from 306 to 360hp, while torque went up from 294 to 398 pound-feet and its top speed was at 177 mph.
BMW Z4 also got an exclusive aerodynamics package, including a new front lip spoiler with integrated LED running lights, side skirts, a modified rear fascia, and a new decklid spoiler.
The kit and the car's 1.2-inch suspension drop make the Z4 appear longer and lower than the stock car. A set of 20-inch matte black forged aluminum wheels is optional. Hamann left the interior mostly unchanged.
The car got a new gearshift lever and custom embroidered floormats. A hand-crafted full leather interior is listed as an option.
Hamann typically doesn't list prices for the complete car but it's not expected to come cheap. We don't know about the other options but the matte black wheels alone cost EURO 7640, or about $10,000.
