Kicherer has released a modification package for the outgoing Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG. The German aftermarket developer used the Carbon Series designation. The car is covered in carbon fiber foil and has been given smoked taillights and dark tinted windows. The unit features 23-inch alloy rims, which have a five-spoke design.
They are given a black finish to emphasize the aggressive image of the SUV. Kicherer also gave this vehicle a 6.2-liter V8 engine with an ECU remap as well as a stainless steel sport exhaust system.
This enables the naturally aspirated powerplant to raise the output by 30 hp and 10 Nm (7 lb-ft). As a result, the vehicle takes advantage of its 540 hp and 40 Nm (472 lb-ft) of torque. Kicherer didn’t provide the performance figures yet though.
According to a company statement, the ML63 AMG gets a performance boost to 540 HP (397 kW), with a new maximum torque at a full 640 Nm.
Aside from impressive acceleration values, it also boasts a top speed “far in excess of 250 km/h.” The interior gets some modifications, such as the use of Alcantara and carbon fiber.
The AMG line dishes out another amazing model that will take you to new heights. Mercedes Benz’s ML 63 AMG has a 375kW, 6.3L V8 powerful engine. Mercedes bares the newly designed exterior with the combination of sportiness and extreme performance. The latest ML63 AMG impresses on the road with its 510hp at 6800rpm along with the 630Nm torque output. This makes the electronically limited SUV rev up from 0-100kmh in 5 seconds or achieve a maximum of 250km/h.
The front bonnet showcases the new power domes, bi-xenon headlamps and active lighting system. This high-performing SUV looks more eccentric with the new darkened headlamps and taillights. Meanwhile, the clear lens with LED technology maintains the perfect balance.
The Mercedes Benz ML 63 AMG also has chrome front and rear underguards to provide the SUV with a more distinct and powerful look.
Meanwhile, The Engine of the Year Awards recognized the same engine in two categories. The AMG 6.3L V8 engine won the first place in the “Above 4 Litres” as well as the “Best Performance Engine” in 2009.
Similarly, the powerful SUV with its three different driving modes has a lot to be thankful for with its use of the AMG Speedshift 7G TRONIC AT Transmission. The sporty all-wheel drive divides the power between the rear and front wheels by 60:40. This will give anyone the most unforgettable driving experience on any kind of road there is.
On the other side, the impressive suspension system is from the AIRMATIC package with completely automatic level control and ADS (Adaptive Damping System) air suspension. AMG’s high performance brake is made up of perforated and internally ventilated discs.
The new Mercedes Benz ML63 AMG has 5-spoke alloy wheels in titanium grey finish. The 295/420 tyres at the front and rear fit here perfectly. As an alternative, AMG also offers another version of tyres (295/35 R21) for 2-spoke alloy wheels.
