Porsche Panamera, the brand’s second best-selling model, is a favorite in the aftermarket industry. One of the reasons is that Porsche models are not extremely expensive such as a Ferrari or a Lamborghini but they still command the attention of any bystander with their exclusivity and potency.
Tuning firm Vorsteiner has taken a new Panamera V-PT and transformed it to an “aggressive state of mind” while still being able to keep its classic style. Vorsteiner gave the Panamera a makeover that makes it edgy and attractive. Carbon fiber technology is used in all of the V-Pt’s aerodynamic components.
It is finished with numerous layers of automotive clear lacquer that protects the paint from UV rays. To boost the quality and performance, the Panamera used expensive ore rare materials like the Titanium Forged Aluminum. The front bumper cover has been fitted with a splitter that has a removable carbon fiber insert.
If this splitter gets damaged, the insert may be taken out and replaced, saving both time and money. In addition, the V-PT pack features the typical side skirts, ducktail rear spoiler and rear bumper.
Vorsteiner’s new Panamera V-PT got an exhaust system that could be built from either stainless steel or titanium. When the titanium is used, it is claimed to have led to weight savings of up to 40% over the stock exhaust system.
The Porsche Panamera boasts of its five technological advancements featured in a production vehicle in the luxury car segment. Going straight to the point, Porsche's Gran Turismo is presenting the first dual-clutch transmission in this market’s segment. It is also offering the first start-stop system in addition to automatic transmission, the first adaptive air suspension that has an on-demand added volume in every spring, and active aerodynamics offered for the first time by a rear spoiler automatically moving upward then adjusting in its air flow angle. In addition, it is available with the first Sport Chrono Package activated at the press of a button to give a more sporting and dynamic set-up to the engine, transmission, suspension along with other components. Aside from the PDK, Launch Control guarantees the fastest imaginable acceleration from a stop.
The different models belonging to the Porsche Panamera range set a whole new standard in the luxury performance segment with regards to efficiency. Every model has a low-friction drive system, Direct Fuel Injection and lightweight body. In fact, the top-of-its class Porsche Panamera Turbo weighs below 2,000 kilos equivalent to 4,410 lb (Din norm) even if it has a wide variety of standard features added from the beginning.
To further reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption to a lower level, all Panamera versions with Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe have the latest Auto Start-Shop function that automatically turns off the engine when the car is on a stop. Examples are when trapped in a traffic jam or stopping at the traffic lights, wherein the driver presses on the brake then automatically starts the engine the moment the driver releases the brake pedal. This leads, especially in city traffic, to a more considerable reduction in fuel use.

Besides the usual steel suspension, Panamera S and Panamera 4S come optional with Porsche’s brand-new adaptive air suspension giving more air volume on every spring - a high-tech system that comes standard on the Panamera Turbo. Adaptive air suspension offers a wider variety of suspension characteristics plus more enhanced driving comfort on one hand and great sporting driving dynamics on the other hand.
It is optional for the Porsche Panamera to be integrated with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control or PDCC and forcefully compensating body roll in curves and simultaneously, enhancing the smoothness and behavior of the car when driving along bumpy roads.
