2014 Porsche 911 (991) Turbo by Techart

Article by Christian Andrei, on February 16, 2014

If you don’t like the standard 2014 Porsche 911 (991) Turbo, Techart has a new customization programme for the German sports car. The new Techart Aerodynamic Kit found on the new car is made from a lightweight fibre composite of carbon and polyurethane RIM. As you can see from the photos, the body kit consists of a new a Techart Front Spoiler I that incorporates active aerodynamics at the basic vehicle’s front apron.

How does this work? At the press of a button at speeds of under 120 km/h (74 mph), or automatically over the same speed. Moreover, the spoiler retracts automatically when speed is reduced to 80 km/h (49 mph). Furthermore, the bodykit includes a stationary Techart Rear Spoiler II that allows a perfect airflow.

The new Techart Aero Wings are integrated in the front air inlets and create a dynamic shaft outline and form the prominent Techart family face in collaboration with the Techart Air Vent. Techart Headlamp Trims and Techart Perfomance Décor set visual highlights. The new Techart Side Skirts give the car a more compact appearance. The roof spoiler completes the design of the 911 Turbo.

At the rear, we find the Techart Diffuser Trim and the new sport tailpipes made from stainless steel in dual oval tube design. The new Sound Muffler Kit Sort generates solid acoustic performance. The tuning kit also includes the 21-inch Techart Formula IV light-alloy wheels in 5-twin-spoke design. Still, Techart also offers the 21-inch lightweight Formula III forged wheels in standard or individual colours, in bi-color finish as well as in ceramic burnished glossy smooth finish.

If you don’t like these models, don’t worry as the tuning company has more: the classic Techart Formula light-alloy wheels in 20-inch with center lock for more agile driving behavior.

The Techart Sport Spring Kit brings the vehicle closer to the ground, while the Techart Noselift System makes sure all the obstacles can be avoided at the push of a button. Inside, the Techart individualization Program incorporated the exterior design. There is also a Techart 3-spoke Multifunctional Sport Steering Wheel with paddle shifters, aluminum sport pedals and the aluminum footrest.
