Brabus B63S 700 Widestar based on the 2013 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG

If not satisfied by the performances of your Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG, Brabus prepared the B63S 700 Widestar. At the heart if the Brabus B63S 700 engine conversion are the newly designed peripherals such as intake and charge-air pipes wrapped in Brabus Gold Heat Reflection insulation, two Brabus turbochargers with larger compressor unit, a new exhaust system consisting of a free-flow metal catalyst system that features downpipes with a diameter of 75 mm (3 in.).

Moreover, we find a Brabus stainless-steel sport exhaust system with controlled butterfly valve and as expected the driver can choose to be discrete in “Coming Home” mode or loud at the push of a button on the steering wheel. Brabus also remapped the engine and the result is remarkable: 700 hp (525 kW) at 5,300 rpm and 960 Nm of torque (708 lb-ft), surpassing the standard model by 175 hp (129 kW).

What’s mode interesting is that peak torque was electronically limited by Brabus in order to protect the drivetrain. The environmentally compatible exhaust emissions are in line with the Euro V standards.

The engine is bolted to the AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic transmission and the Brabus B63S hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed electronically limited to 300 km/h (186 mph) to protect the tires. In terms of design, we find a new body kit consisting of a new front and rear bumpers, side sills, fender flares on the front and rear axle, side air inlets, a rear air diffuser and ceramic-coated dual tailpipes.

The new fender flares add six centimeters (2.4 inches) to the width of the M-Class at the front and rear axle. The exterior design is completed by the 22-inch Brabus Widestar wheels available in five designs: Monoblock VI, E, G "Platinum Edition", Q and R. Brabus also offers 23-inch Monoblock R Platinum Edition forged wheels.

All the wheels are wrapped in high-performance tires supplied by Continental, Pirelli or Yokohama. The Airmatic air suspension is also available to lower the ride height of the high-performance SUV. The interior was also updated but Brabus can design it just like the customer wants it. The Brabus B63S 700 Widestar based on the Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG will also come in September at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show!
