Although the G-Class Short-Wheelbase (SWB) was phased out by Mercedes-Benz back in 2011, Brabus decided that it can still customize the iconic SUV. Based on the BA3 Final Edition, this Mercedes-Benz received the well-known Widestar treatment from Brabus and comes with a new bodykit.
As you can see from the photos, the Brabus G500 SWB 6.1 Widestar features a new front bumper, the well-known front grille fitted with the ‘B’ logo, a front hood that underlines the power of the engine, new side mirrors, enlarged fenders and a new rear bumper.
Moreover, this custom G-Class rides on 22-inch nine-spoke Monoblock E alloy wheels. Under the hood, the 5.5-liter V8 engine also received a treatment from Brabus.
The displacement of the engine was increased at 6.1-liter, but we don’t have any details of the maximum power delivered now. We do know that the standard 5.5-liter V8 engine found on the G500 delivers 388 hp (285 kW) and 530 Nm (391 lb-ft) of torque.
The interior was also upgraded with red and black leather, a Brabus gear knob, new floor mats but as expected, Brabus can upgraded it as the customer wants it!
