Brabus pimps the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG

Article by Christian Andrei, on April 2, 2014

Not satisfied by your Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG? Then head over to Brabus, the well-known German tuning company, as they can make your CLA45 AMG sexier and faster. As you may know already, the standard version of the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 360 hp (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque.

With these numbers, the vehicle hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed electronically limited at 250 km/h or 155 mph.

With some help from Brabus, the engine found on the CLA45 AMG was boosted to 400 hp (294 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque (just like the Brabus B45 based on Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG).

As a result, the vehicle hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds, which means it is with 0.2 seconds faster than the standard version.

Brabus didn’t stop here as it also added a roof-mounted spoiler, a rear lop spoiler as well as red accents. The exterior design is completed by new multi-spoke black wheels with red rims in order to match the color accents on the body.

The interior remains the same but as you may know already, Brabus can customize it and you only need to ask. The standard Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG is priced from 56,078 euros in Germany. Brabus didn’t release any details regarding the pricing.
