GeigerCars Hummer H2 Bomber with Mattracks rubber tracks

Article by Christian A., on August 29, 2010

GeigerCars.de has released its own version of the Hummer H2, proving that the regular trim could still be improved further when it comes to off-road capabilities and looks. Instead of the regular wheels with their 8.5" x 20" rims encompassing 305/60 tires, the "H2 Bomber" will have the Mattracks 88M1-A1 rubber tracks at each wheel.

The specialists from Munich gave this SUV these massive structures, 40cm wide and 150cm long, that ensure amazing traction on basically any type of terrain. The vehicle can function well whether it's used for agriculture, emergency services or expedition.

With its powerful 8-cylinder engine, the car is able to deliver 398 bhp and 574 Nm of torque. GeigerCars.de claims that even extreme gradients can be handled without a sweat.

Autobild editor Wolfgang Blaube has tested the GeigerCars.de Hummer on the legendary Nordschleife of the Nurburgring in the depths of winter with the circuit covered in snow. It's reported that he was completely captured by the "new dimension of fun" after just a few kilometers.

The interior of this car has a matte silver finish, with extra headlights on the roof and the lettering printed in an army style. The luxurious features on this Hummer project are sure to be the envy of everyone.

It also has a sunroof, a navigation system with a DVD drive from Kenwood, the roof monitor with headphones or the rear-view camera including a monitor in the rear-view mirror. If the buyer asks for it, the Geigercars team can also install an economical LPG autogas system and other extras.
