The AVALANCHE is powered by an engine that generates 650hp and a maximum speed of 332 km/h, sufficient for meeting the highest driving requirements. With just a casual look, the AVALANCHE strongly emphasizes its link with the highest sports car class. Exclusive gull wing doors and the fresh front headlights borrowed from the Carrera GT, provides a remarkably unmistakable visual highlights.
This can also be said of the uniquely manufactured Thyssen steel extensions which were welded directly to the body shell. The exclusive hood and side skirts were developed and customized by GEMBALLA technicians. A carbon version of the front wings was also installed. Apart from a similar revision to the present Porsche 911 induction powerplant version, the AVALANCHE also got a visual enhancement from GEMBALLA. Included in the update is a front skirt that has been totally re-designed and comes with an incorporated carbon front lip that channels cool air to the air intake vents and provides the car with a lowered appearance.
AVALANCHE also received a transformation at its rear section which includes LED tail lights inspired by the Porsche 911, and further improved by a new rear skirt. The built-in rear air diffuser, which comes with a choice of varnish or carbon fiber, can accommodate four exhaust end pipes. In combination with the rear wing, extra downforce is channeled to the rear axle.
Immense attention was placed on the aerodynamic efficiency of the AVALANCHE GTR 650 EVO-R which has resulted in precision fitting of its component parts that comes with lifting force reduction. Besides the totally stunning form of the car, the engine sector of GEMBALLA came up with a powerful performance improvement pack for the serial gearing. Included in the engine modification is a racing crankshaft, a connecting rod made of titanium, forged pistons and racing turbochargers.
The fabrication of the camshafts and cylinder heads were done with a high level of precision. Air supply is optimized by the aluminum induction pipe and a carbon air box equipped with sports air filter. The powerful sound is brought about by the stainless steel, high-performance exhaust system that comes with racing headers that have been tuned for optimum performance. As a result of the wide-ranging revisions the AVALANCHE super sports car produces 650hp (478 kW) which it attains at 6,200rpm and top torque of 950Nm is achieved at 4,600rpm.
This provides the four-wheel-drive vehicle with an acceleration rate of 0-100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and attains a maximum speed of 332km/h. For those who want more, GEMBALLA has more engine types with performance ratings reaching 800hp maximum. Optimum comfort and control is achieved through a combination of wheels and tires. The sizes of the multi-part and uniquely light aluminum wheels are 9.0Jx20 fitted with tires with dimensions 245/30 ZR 20 for the front axle and 1.5Jx20 with 325/25 ZR 20 tires at the axle at the rear.
The interior was not forgotten by GEMBALLA who totally redesigned it and transforms it into a cozy compartment which exudes with motor sport sensations. Leather has replaced the original serial lining. Carbon fiber elements adorn the interior with aluminum pedals providing an attractive contrast. The sports steering wheel which is 340mm in diameter is equipped with a full-sized airbag and the sports seats of the Pole Position type provide additional seating firmness. Including the basic price of the Porsche 997 Turbo, the AVALANCHE GTR 650 EVO-R fetches an enormous price tag beginning at 350,000 Euros.
