Heico Sportiv develops complete bodykit for 2014 Volvo XC60

Article by Anita Panait, on September 21, 2013

Independent refiner HEICO SPORTIV has developed a comprehensive and expressive bodykit for the all-new 2014 Volvo XC60. The Weiterstadt-based company made a six-digit euro investment in what is considered to be Volvo's most successful model to date, thereby cementing its reputation as the number one player in the Volvo enhancement market.

HEICO SPORTIV General Manager Holger Hedtke remarked that with this product offensive, they are reinforcing its claim as the "world’s leading and most coveted independent refiner for the Volvo mark.”

The already elegant and dynamic XC60 becomes more stylistic and proud thanks to the redesigned and first-ever complete HEICO SPORTIV front skirt, providing the 2014 Volvo XC60 with a compelling, athletic first impression.

The front skirt’s chosen contours and beading add flexibility for individual color combos and accentuations.

The HEICO SPORTIV front skirt is also now compatible with both the standard XC60 model and the R-Design. Ensuring maximum fitting accuracy with OEM precision for the crossover are CAD-based construction and the use of light-weight, flexible polyurethane plastic (PUR-R-RIM).

The refiner's eye for detail is well highlighted in the redesign of many covers and in the use of polished stainless steel for the two struts in front of the lower cooling vent.

HEICO SPORTIV's body kit for the XC60 still features standard daytime running light and original radiator grill. The HEICO SPORTIV front skirt is mounted similarly to the original part, and complies with the latest pedestrian safety regulations.

Aside from the front skirt, HEICO SPORTIV is also offering an eight-part fender extension set, catering to some markets' demands for an even more powerful, self-confident appearance. All the parts are also CAD-designed and finished to guarantee maximum OE fitting accuracy.
