Hurst reveals the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Series 5

Article by Christian A., on August 29, 2010

This Chevrolet Camaro Series 5 limited edition from Hurst is highly exclusive, with only 50 units of the car to be built each year. This new custom muscle car is painted with Hurst's colors of white and gold. The car is also given a special feature -- a gold mica in the white and painted gloss black graphics that come with gold stripe finishes.

The car gets custom forged alloy rims that use a black chrome finish, boast a 20-inch size and are covered in BFG KDW performance tires.

Hurst installed an AIR-SPEED deck spoiler at the rear of the Camaro that improves the car's aesthetic value. When it comes to technical modifications, the engine was boosted with the help of a supercharger and a Magnaflow polished exhaust system.

The Camaro also got a Hurst shifter and a Eibach suspension. Buyers can choose from either an automatic or a manual gearbox.

Passengers are predicted to take a liking for its graphite leather finish with gold stitching and embroidered Hurst logos, a metal numbered interior dash plaque and bespoke floor mats. The driver will also get the chance to drive using a gpld anodized HARD-DRIVE shift handle.

The tuner plans to build only 50 examples of the Chevrolet Camaro Series 5 limited edition every year, and each unit comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and a custom Hurst gold car cover as well as signatures in the trunk from the Hurst Team.

Nate Shelton, Chairman of Hurst and Hurst Performance Vehicles, remarked that the Chevrolet Camaro Series 5 limited edition – featuring a Hurst shifter, lots of tire-smoking power and appropriate exhaust rumble – are the closest that fans and enthusiasts could get to living out their high school dreams.

He noted that one of the reasons that Hurst's products are able to deliver is because they build them one at a time. Interested buyers could avail of the Chevrolet Camaro Series 5 limited edition only at Hurst Authorized Dealers.
