The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a unique flagship super sports car in a sense that it features a carbon fiber structure. The use of such material has made the Aventador LP700-4 super rigid and super light. Tuning specialist MANSORY Design & Holding GmbH, however, also created a tuned version of the Aventador -- the MANSORY CARBONADO.
Interestingly, all the bodywork elements that MANSORY created for the Aventador LP700-4 were all made of carbon fiber. Each individual element of the Kourosh Mansory aerodynamic design is made with impeccable surface finish through the prepeg autoclave method before they are embedded seamlessly into the super sports car.
With just one look, people will instantly notice the striking apron on the CARBONADO`s front body, bearing optimized air inlets for enhanced ventilation of the front coolers. Along with the new front lip and its proprietary daytime driving lights, MANSORY was able to give the CARBONADO a more aggressive look but allowed for additional downthrust.
MANSORY removed the Aventador’s front wings and bonnet and replaced them with proprietary versions. The super sports car is also now wider by 40 millimeters on the front axle and by 50 millimeters on the rear axle.
The tuning company also installed newly designed side sill sets, which work to steady the airflow between the axles and direct additional cool air to the drive unit and the rear brake system. MANSORY also integrated the diffuser into the new rear apron, thereby making the rear stable at high speed. The diffuser along with an enlarged rear wing produces contact pressure at the rear axle.
MANSORY also replaced the roof and engine-compartment covers with carbon-fiber elements. The German tuning company also implemented a number of changes to the Aventador’s performance hardware and software.
To increase the Aventador’s engine power and acceleration push, the company installed an optimized engine-management system and a high performance exhaust system. These changes allowed the 12-cylinder engine to develop 754 PS (555 kW) at 8,300 rpm and 750 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, in turn enabling the MANSORY CARBONATO to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and to reach a top speed of 355 km/h.
The vehicle is also fitted with ultra-light forged rims with carbon-fiber inlays at sizes 9.0 x 20 and 13.0 x 21. The rims are wrapped with tires at sizes VA 255/30 ZR20 and HA 345/25 ZR21. MANSORY also did not forget to make some revisions inside the CARBONATO.
MANSORY used only the most luxurious materials available like treated leather for the seats and dashboard. Additionally, the newly designed airbag sports steering wheel is also wrapped in leather. MANSORY also installed non-slip aluminum pedals and real carbon-fiber components in the CARBONATO. When produced, only six examples of the MANSORY CARBONATO will be available.
