MANSORY, the refining specialist for luxury vehicles, presents its GRAHAM Chronofighter Oversize MANSORY, which has a 47 mm steel case diameter and iconic left-hand fast-action start/stop trigger of all GRAHAM watches.
In the past, the company could only fulfill the luxury vehicle dreams of its fine clientele but now, it proves that its expertise goes beyond that. The instinctive device activated by the thumb ensures excellent precision with the most direct response of the chronograph functions.
According to CEO Kourosh Mansory of the MANSORY Holding & Design GmbH, the cooperation with GRAHAM-LONDON comes from his long-term friendship with Eric Loth, who is the founder and a board member of GRAHAM-LONDON. He added that his passion for high-quality chronographs combined with Loth’s enthusiasm for dynamic automobiles is perfect, resulting to the impressive GRAHAM MANSORY Chronofighter Oversize.
Replicating MANSORY’s automobile core competences, the dial is made of carbon, which is typically used in sports vehicles. The "Clous de Paris" decorated steel bezel reflects the artistic performances of MANSORY concept vehicles.
The case back, which is a smoked transparent sapphire crystal with the MANSORY logo, provides an insight into the clockwork Calibre G1734 with 48 hours power reserve. The black rubber strap is "Clous de Paris" decorated and bearing the logos of MANSORY and GRAHAM.
MANSORY namesake and owner Kourosh Mansory has been known to be passionate when it comes to luxury British cars and their very special style. As a result of this passion, he spent a number of years in England and he even committed himself to learning the different values in the auto industry like well-engineered technology, craftsmanship, and tradition. Thus when he founded the company in 1989, he made sure to focus first on the Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, and the Rolls Royce. Originally based in Munich, the company moved to Fichtelgebirge by the mid-2001.
Since it is now in Brand, it is within the Bayreuth region which is celebrated for its Wagner Festival. This is also where the skilled team is able to make high-end tuning using all disciplines on individual auto manufacturing. By November 2007, MANSORY took over Porsche-Tuning’s business division from Swiss Rinspeed AG, resulting in it extending its product portfolio. As such, the new MANSORY (Switzerland) AG will be operating at Zumikon which is in Lake Zurich.
This company’s main objective would be to develop and then sell tuning programs and accessories targeted at Porsche vehicles on a worldwide basis. For MANSORY corporations, a high standard of quality is always present considering the use of exquisite materials and combined with masterly craftsmanship as well as production using the highest of technical levels. In terms of its technology program, it is founded on the improvements done on the powerful engine performance and coupled with the use of ultra-light aluminium rims with the aerodynamic program. Rounding all these up are the stylish fittings on the interior and the use of high quality accessories.
Clearly, the interiors done by MANSORY give any vehicle that added comfort on top of its extravagance. When it comes to advances in timekeeping, many attribute it to George Graham (1673-1751), one of the premier clockmakers from London. Some of the inventions credited to him include the mercury pendulum which can compensate if there’s a change in the temperature. There is also the dead-beat cylinder escapement and the chronograph.
Graham is also known for creating the master clock that the Greenwich Royal Observatory used in setting the standard time during the 18th century. It is with all these that GRAHAM-LONDON traces its heritage to. While it was originally closed sometime in the past, it was opened again in 1995. Currently it is owned by a private Anglo-Swiss watch company which designs and creates its own watches at its facility located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.
