Novitec Rosso 599 GTB based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

Article by Christian A., on August 29, 2010

The Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano represents already the ultimate supercar but it seems that Novitec considered it slow and decided to improve its performances in order to leave you breathless. So what did they do?The V12 engine capable to deliver 620 hp was boosted with the help of twin compressor in order to deliver an impressive 808 hp (594 kW) and 823 Nm of torque.

Also a new sport exhaust system with a tailpipe diameter of 90 millimeters was added to deliver even better the roar of the engine. Connected to the F1-Superfast transmission the vehicle sprints from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.5 seconds, hits 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.7 seconds, 300 km/h (186 mph) in 25.5 seconds and has a top speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

The Novitec Rosso Bi-Kompressor engine conversion is available for €46,900 or $59,640. At the exterior the vehicle received a front lip spoiler, an optional rear spoiler, and the taillights became black and are available with LED auxiliary brake light and reversing light. The kit is completed by the 20 inch Novitec Rosso NF3 light-alloy wheels on the front and 21 inch on the rear.

Stopping the car is not a problem, due to the Brembo brake system that features steel discs with diameters of 405 millimeters and six-piston brake calipers.

Also, for better stability at very high speeds a new suspension kit was added, that can be activated by pushing a button in the cockpit. With the help of this system the front of the car can be raised with almost 40 millimeters to navigate safely or avoid obstacles such as parking ramps or speed bumps.

When driving at speeds over 80 km/h (50 mph) the suspension automatically reverts to its original position. At the interior the manufacturer offers a leather/carbon-fiber sport steering wheel with flattened bottom, carbon-fiber accessories and aluminium pedals. As an option for the special clients, the interior of the vehicle can be customized in any color and material.
