Project Kahn introduces the Vezuvius colours

Article by Christian Andrei, on October 29, 2011

Car customization expert Afzal Kahn has unveiled the updates it has prepared for the Project Kahn Vesuvius range, which is named after the volcano in Italy. The original Vesuvius edition is famous for its bonnet stripe and roof in burnt orange. Kahn took a Range Rover Sport and gave it fresh elements. For instance, the ‘Vesuvius colours of Kahn’ is better than a supercar due to its special revisions on the exterior and its performance as well.

The ‘Vesuvius colours of Kahn’ is targeted at somebody who refuses to conform and would only accept perfection. The colours range from Vesuvius Orkney grey and green and Orkney grey and blue. The ‘Vesuvius colours of Kahn’ is very elegant and shows a very close attention to detail. In addition, the Kahn RS22″ wheels come with coloured stripes.

"Dedicated to the creation of luxury bespoke vehicles, Project Kahn redesign the ordered monotony of mass produced vehicles and rebuild them into individually tailored creations. And should you desire a Vesuvius in the colour of your choice, contact the Kahn team and they will oblige with a true style icon befitting of Afzal’s strap line: ‘The road is my catwalk’.No doubt the ‘Vesuvius colours of Kahn’ demonstrates an enhanced level of interaction and style, taking land rover personalisation to the next level." said the press release.

The Land Rover Range Rover has improved on itself with more dynamic and exciting features. Since the last time it updated its looks, Land Rover comes back with a more comprehensive design and engineering features. Today, the 2010 Range Rover looks tougher and is also more stylish than the last time we saw it.

Of course, Land Rover’s Managing Director has something to say about this change. Phil Popham credited the vehicle’s improved Sport’s performance, ride and handling to Land Rover’s new chassis, transmission and engine systems. He also considers the Range Rover as the most ideal SUV sports tourer after completing the makeover.

The new Land Rover Range Rover is available in two powerful and highly efficient engines. You can have either the LR-V8 5.0L Supercharged or the LR-V8 naturally aspirated engine. Apart from the beautifully designed and well-crafted interiors, the Land Rover V8 5L Supercharged has the improved off-road and on-road driving dynamics capability.

To attain this objective, Land Rover tweaked the Sport’s chassis system in order to enhance the SUV’s off-road and on-road performance. The brand also introduces new technologies to improve the Range Rover’s ride and agility. The new model is equipped with Dynamic programs that work along with the existing features (i.e. Terrain ResponseTM, Dynamic Response System and Adaptive Dynamics).

The stylish SUV now sports a bolder yet cleaner image with all the right curves in proper places. In fact, it’s going to be difficult to find a bad angle of it. The sleeker front end styling on the exterior surface is already hard to overlook.

Likewise, Land Rover’s state-of-the-art aerodynamic design can’t be without Range Rover’s new fenders, bumpers and signature two-bar grille at the front. If there’s anything more to say, the new LED headlamps, mirrors and taillights look pretty good as well. And finally, we can’t deny how impressed we are with the redesigned interiors. Land Rover employed the choicest materials and applied it with smooth final touches for a more inviting ambience.
