Article by Christian Andrei, on August 29, 2010

Are you in the mood to try ultimate supercar also known as RUF's new Porsche 911 RT12 S sports car? Well, you have the chance now! RUF, the Germany-based car builder, hid Porsche's refined biturbo boxer engine, creating 685 hp and 880 Nm of torque and tweaked the car's aerodynamics to sustain speeds of up to 360 km/h (224 mph).

A roll cage was also integrated in the ceiling and sports seats as well a steering wheel with maximum grip were provided.

You don't want to swing around while navigating those curves. The exterior kit includes a carbon rear spoiler with tearing edge, air ducts fitted in the widened rear fenders and RUF CTR3 exterior mirrors. Observe as onlookers get hypnotized with your forged 19-inch light alloy wheels spinning in high speed.

RUF also provides separate LED alternative lamps for the position light and the turn signals. If you want to add your personal touch to the Rt12, just inform your RUF agent as the company can provide on-demand varnish, aluminum or carbon applications.

Price for the Rt12 S starts at 255,900 euro, VAT excluded. It is available in either rear or four-wheel drive.

The most powerful car Porsche 911 ever produced comes with distinguishing features like bar-shaped LED direction indicator lights plus a front apron with large cooling intakes. Its additional features include LED driving daylights to take the place of the usual fog lamps and titanium-colored louvers in the side air intakes.

For the very first time, the new Porsche 911 Turbo comes with optional dynamic bending lights to improve how the driver sees the bends in front. The headlight module follows the road course by swiveling up to a 15° angle. Undoubtedly, the sophisticated design of the dual-lens projection system is compelling proof of the new 911’s striking and progressive personality.

The new design includes double-arm side mirrors that give a clearer view of the rear as well as enhanced aerodynamics that better protect the mirror glass from dirt. The latest Porsche 911 comes standard with 19-inch wheels in Turbo II forged technology and two-tone looks that raise the model’s appeal in terms of style and design.

Porsche 911 Turbo has a more powerful and well-built rear-view not only due to its classic split wing but most of all, because of the new rear lights incorporated with LED technology as well as its much larger tailpipes.

The new generation of the top 911 Turbo in the range also features the latest generation of steering wheels. Models that have a manual gearbox come standard with a new, modified 3-spoke sports steering wheel.

For the first time, cars that have Porsche–Doppelkupplungsgetriebe are being offered as a replacement of the PDK steering wheel, which features proven shift buttons plus a new, 3-spoke sports steering wheel as an option incorporated with gearshift paddles.
