TopCar has unveiled its Inferno project based on the 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG. TopCar collaborated with Evotech Motorsport for the engine modifications, which are offered in three stages. The first stage, which could be availed for EUR7,900, increases engine output to 640 hp (477 kW) and 723 lb-ft (980 Nm) of torque.
The second stage, which costs EUR11,900, improves output to 690 hp (514 kW) and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm). The third stage, available for EUR21,900, augments the engine’s power to 760 hp (567 kW) and 848 lb-ft (1,150 Nm). The V8 5.5-liter bi-turbo engine of a standard ML 63 AMG provides up to 518 hp (386 kW) and 516 lb-ft (699 Nm) of torque.
Once fitted with the optional AMG Performance Package, its power is raised to 550 hp (410 kW) and 560 lb-ft (758 Nm) of torque. TopCar also developed a new body kit made from carbon fiber and Kevlar. The kit includes front and rear bumpers, special door trim, fender extensions, hood, sills, front wings, diffuser and spoiler.
The front bumper features built-in LEDs, while the exhaust pipes were modified. TopCar used the vacuum forming technology to develop this body kit. The body kit also features smoked taillights, special floor mats with the tuner's logo, aluminum pedals and any color for the instrument panel. The entire body kit is available at EUR22,768, while its carbon version is offered at EUR27,070.
