An ultra-exclusive Lamborghini Reventón supercar will be available during an exclusive H&H Classics sale at London's Motorexpo (motorexpo.com) on June 11 to 17, 2012, in Canary Wharf. The Reventón is anticipated to fetch at least £1 million. It is one of only 20 units manufactured. Moreover, it is considered to be the only example in the United Kingdom. Thus, the Reventón being offered for private sale at Motorexpo offers interested automotive collectors a truly unique opportunity to own one of the rarest supercars in the world. In September 2007, the Reventón made its public debut for the first time at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Despite the asking price of €1 million, excluding local taxes, all the 20 limited samples were pre-sold prior to the vehicle's launch. The carbon-fiber vehicle has a 6.5-liter V12 poweplant, which generates 650 bhp.
It can accelerate to 62 mph from a standstill in only 3.4 seconds, achieving a top speed of 211 mph, living up to its remarkable F-22 Raptor jet fighter-inspired body. As part of its 'Supercars and Superclassics' sale, H&H will be also be showcasing an Auburn Speedster replica and a range of automobiles from Ferrari, Maserati, Koenigsegg and Pagani, among other brands. Motorexpo Chief Executive Officer Graeme Carver commented that the appearance of a vehicle as rare as the Lamborghini Reventón is "sure to attract" a huge number of supercar collectors and enthusiasts to the Motorexpo.
The CEO further said that even those who "can't quite justify the £1 million asking price for the Reventón" can have the chance to "get up close" to their potential next purchase whether it be a modern or classic vehicle. Various automobile manufacturers will also be displaying at least 250 new models at the event, Carver revealed. He concluded that there will be a vehicle for every customer considering that on-the-road prices at the sale will start at lower than £8,000. Motorexpo is open in Canary Wharf at 10 am to 6 pm from June 11 to 16, and 11 am to 5 pm on June 17.
