Upcoming Spyker Peking-Paris SUV to receive V8 engine instead of V12

It was learned that the Russian investment was due to the investor's passion for the Peking-Paris, so with funds under it, Spyker is going double-time with the car. However, since a Peking-Paris powered by a V12 has been decided to be too much, consequently, there will be no D12 variant.
Instead Spyker will come out with a D8 that will be equipped with a yet-to-be-determined V8 with 550bhp at least. Besides the practical decision to make just the V8 Spyker Peking-Paris D8, much of the car appears to be the same. The Spyker D8 is set to be shown in September at the Frankfurt Auto Show and in European showrooms thereafter.
