Vauxhall extends special discount deals to owners of older vans

With the London Low Emission Zone (LEZ) changes to begin early next year, Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles has decided to extend its various special discounts on the Vauxhall range to owners of older vans from its London Retail Group until March 30, 2012. Beginning January 3, 2012, vans, which are 3.5 tons GVW and below and registered as new prior to January 1, 2002, will have to comply with daily LEZ charges.

In order to assist owners of older vehicles to plan in advance and avoid the daily toll, the London Retail Group is offering massive swappage savings to those buying a new Vauxhall commercial automobile before March ends next year.

Even with the LEZ changes relating to automobiles that are ten years and older, the group will extend the savings opportunity to customers of vehicles first registered as late as seven years ago.

The savings on the Vauxhall range include a £3,000 discount from the list price of a new Corsavan when trading in with an old van. Those with greater space requirements can enjoy a £7,500 discount on a new Movano.

The savings extend almost throughout the entire range including Vivaro, Astravan and Combo as well as all panel vans and chassis cabs along with the Vivaro 9 Seat Combi.
