RSIII sports car as well as a carbonfiber SUV version , Autocar reports. At London‚ Salon Prive show, a completely-redesigned production version of the retro open-cockpit RSIII was unveiled. Instead of a V8, the car was fitted with the V10 from the current BMW.
The car is available with either 500bhp or 620bhp. Veritas is set to build 30 open-cockpit versions and 30 coupes. It is claimed to go up to 60mph in 3.0sec and has top speed of 360kph (224mph). In an interview with Autocar, Veritas’ Michael Trick said that the coupe version, which is designed for markets like the Middle East that need air conditioning, will have a sloping rear that runs to back of the car. Trick added that Veritas is planning a bespoke SUV, which he reveals might be fitted with a small aircraft engine. The car, which will be built in limited numbers, will have a carbonfiber body. Starting price for the Veritas is £245,000.
