Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP4-24 still not fast enough!

It was admitted by McLaren that their team's 2009 Formula One challenger is not yet quick enough. This was in consideration of the remarkably fast times recorded by Jenson Button's and Ruben Barrichello's Mercedes-engined Brawn GP F1 machine during their pre-season testing. On the other hand, the McLaren-Mercedes MP4-24s of Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen were not found anywhere on top of the speed sheets. McLaren has admitted to have discovered the problem and they are working intensely to remedy it as soon as possible for the Australian GP which will begin on March 29. They further pointed out that the problem is not with the engine since its potency was demonstrated very well the preceding year. The performance problem is obviously centered on the chassis. The McLaren F1 machine was seen testing with "tracing paint" on it at Barcelona this week, a sign that the team has determined that the car is suffering from an aerodynamic failure of some sort.
